C&C project presentation to astronomers at the University of Amsterdam Science Park (October 2019).

Royal Observatory, Greenwich, Peter Harrison Planetarium (Marvellous Moons exhibition, September 2019): artists Ione Parkin and Gillian McFarland together with astronomer Dr Amaury Triaud (University of Birmingham) will be joining astronomer Brendan Owens (curator of the Marvellous Moons exhibition) to talk about the C&C project on 5 September.

Glasgow Science Centre (Moon 50 Festival, July 2019). Ione Parkin and Gillian McFarland will be hosting a ‘meet the artist’ session on 13 July.

2018

Berlin Science Week, November 2018. Ione Parkin will be giving a talk at the Zeiss-Gross Planetarium on 1 November and taking part in a panel discussion on 7 November.

Royal Astronomical Society, London, 6th October 2018. Ione Parkin is giving a talk about the C&C Project as part of the Fun Palaces event.

National Astronomy Meeting/European Week of Astronomy and Space Science (NAM/EWASS 2018) at the Liverpool Arena and Conference Centre. Ione Parkin RWA gave a presentation on behalf of the C&C project for the Special Session on Art/Science Communication and took part in the Panel Discussion.

Space Lates evening at the National Space Centre, Leicester. The talks accompany an exhibition at the Space Oddities Gallery at the NSC, in celebration of British Science Week.
